BEEP

A slightly sideways tale about unexpected friendship, finding where you fit and learning to mix it up a little. In Mort’s Village everything has its place, every day is the same and everyone likes it that way. Until one morning, crash, boom, bang… down comes Beep. What is this annoying interruption to Mort’s breakfast molly melon, who is this noisy robot girl, and how will she find her home? With Windmill’s trademark design, gentle storytelling, music and puppetry, Beep tells the story of what happens when someone new comes to town.

EUPHORIA by Emily Steel

A Country Town. A Festival. A local tragedy and a town that doesn’t talk. This tale of good days, bad days and everything in between catapults us right into the heart of this little town where everyone knows everyone, and where Ethan is hit by his past as Meg struggles with the present. As the festival unfolds, Meg and Ethan’s worlds collide as the community comes together for an event they’ll never forget. This brand new play is a rich and heart-warming story from award-winning South Australian playwright Emily Steel, bringing regional voices to the fore and an entire town to life with authenticity and unmistakable wit. Two years in the making, Euphoria has been developed in consultation with regional South Australian communities. Director: Nescha Jelk Set & Costume Designer: Meg Wilson Sound Designer: Andrew Howard with Ashton Malcolm James Smith

IWISH

An acrobatic adventure exploring all of the things we could be. People are made of stuff – good stuff and bad stuff, happy and sad stuff, stinky, odd, boring, dangerous, funny, sparkling potions of stuff. People also have secret ingredients – what could your secret ingredient be? I Wish… is an exciting collaboration between Patch Theatre and renowned South Australian circus company Gravity & Other Myths. Through physical theatre and stunning visuals, the show explores our differences to reveal the magic of individuality.
